Introducing Dr Rachel Lawes
Dr Rachel Lawes is one of the leading figures in semiotics. She is a social psychologist and specialises in the interface between individuals, culture and brands.
She has collaborated with the Market Research Society (MRS) and taught the Advanced Qualitative Methods Masterclass for over ten years. Previously, she was also a Principal Lecturer in Marketing at Regent’s University London.
Rachel Lawes has worked on brand strategy and consumer insight projects with major global brands including: Unilever, P&G, Kraft, Nike, Diageo, Tesco and The Discovery Channel.
She is the author of Using Semiotics In Retail: Leverage Consumer Insight to Engage Shoppers and Boost Sales, published in 2022. Also, in 2020, she wrote and published Using Semiotics In Marketing.
